In the stillness before sunrise, legend says the Lady of the Lake stepped from the waters of Llyn y Fan Fach—but only once a year, and only on Gŵyl Awst. One year, she stayed long enough to fall in love. From that fleeting union was born a child of light: Rhiwatton of the Yellow Hair, a healer taught by a goddess, destined to pass her wisdom into the bloodline of the Physicians of Myddfai.

This short story draws from fragments of Welsh triads, folk memory, and Gŵyl Awst traditions—reweaving them into a tale of healing, ancestry, and the eternal return of light.

May this season bring you abundance, peace, and connection to the cycles that hold us all.

Here's to new chapters, ancient legends, and the stories that connect us all. Happy reading. 💙
