🌿✨ Between Bloom & Breath: May’s Newsletter

May always feels like a month suspended between things—spring fully awake, but summer still just out of reach. There’s a particular kind of energy to it: growing, stretching, shifting. That sense of becoming something new without quite knowing the final shape yet.
This month’s newsletter carries that feeling with it.
I’ve started writing Among Whispering Flames, the next book in the Between Hill and Sea series, set in 19th-century rural Wales. It’s still early days, but already the story is pulling in close—smoke, folklore, and the uneasy space between belief and survival. I’m looking forward to seeing where it leads.
For May, there are also a few free book collections running across the month, featuring Clean Romance, Small Town Romance, and Romance with Suspense. They’ll be available at different points, so there’s plenty of time to dip in and find something that suits your mood.
I’ve also included a small list of notable dates in May, from seasonal celebrations like Calan Mai to awareness days and literary observances. I always find these moments add a quiet rhythm to the month.
On the community side, I’ve opened up a space on Discord, where I’ll be hanging out more regularly for writing chat, folklore tangents, and general bookish conversation. It’s a more informal, ongoing space if you enjoy that kind of connection.
And finally, I now have a Payhip shop, where you can buy ebooks, paperbacks, and gift cards directly. It’s also where signed copies are available, often at a lower price than retail platforms, with postage added for physical books.
As always, thank you for being here, reading, and following along with these stories as they grow. It truly means a great deal.
I hope May brings you something good—something steady, something surprising, something that feels like it was meant for you.
