As the sun reaches its zenith and the long golden hours stretch into near-nightless twilight, we arrive at midsummer, also known to many as the Summer Solstice, or in Welsh druidry, Alban Hefin - The light of the shore.
This sacred day marks the height of the sun's power, a turning point when the earth is alive with green fire and ancient echoes. For pagans, druids, and nature-honouring souls, this is a time of celebration, visioning, and communion with the unseen. It is when the veil between the world of humans and the Otherworld grows thin, and magic walks softly on the land.
In celebration of this sacred season, I've written a Fantasy Romance tale woven from the threads of North Welsh mythology, old druidic wisdom, and the liminal power of Midsummer.
